The "profile" of a siding is its shape or contour - the height and depth and number of ridges in the panel. Each profile catches the light differently and produces its own style of shadow lines. Each style will make your home look slightly different. We suggest you spend some time looking at homes you admire to discover which profiles you prefer or represent your style. Two Commonly Requested Profiles:
Double 4"
Traditional clapboard style. Realistic natural woodgrain texture or matte finish.
  Double 5"
Wider clapboard. Traditional style for larger homes, in a woodgrain finish.

These are the three most common profiles. As you might guess, a "double 4" clapboard is 4" deep from ridge to ridge. "Double" means that 2 ridges are combined in a single panel for more efficient installation. Rollex offers a choice of seven classic and contemporary profiles. Not all profiles are available in all collections. See the Product listings or Buyers Guide for specifics.

Additional Profiles Offered by Rollex:
  Vertical 12" Board & Batten   Clapboard 8"
