Rollex Corporation warrants to the original homeowner that Rollex steel building products are free from manufacturing defects and when used as intended under conditions of ordinary wear will not peel, chip, crack, split, flake or blister or have manufacturing defects which cause deterioration of the steel substrate due to rust. Rollex warrants for a period of 10 years from date of installation, that color change in panels used as intended, will not vary more than 7 National Bureau of Standards units as measured on the Hunter Color Difference Meter, and that chalk erosion will not exceed a numerical rating of 6 for white and 8 for colors when measured in accordance with A.S.T.M. If a product fails to perform in accordance with the above standards, after written notification and validation of the condition by inspection, Rollex Corporation will repair or replace at its option, any defective product, assuming 100% of the cost. In the event of damage caused by hail during the warranty period, it is the homeowner's responsibility to pursue the costs related to replacement or repair of the damaged material through the homeowner's insurance coverage, or other applicable coverage. Should the homeowner incur cost that exceeds the insurance coverage, Rollex Corporation will reimburse the homeowner (excluding any insurance deductible) for any hail damaged material cost incurred in excess of the insurance coverage. Rollex will not be responsible for the cost of labor required to install new siding, which replaces any hail-damaged material. In no case will Rollex Corporation's cost exceed the value of the replacement material required to replace the hail-damaged material.
